Dr. Raa Khimi
Dr Raa Khimi received his Ph.D for work in the area of smart elastomeric materials for vibration absorption and isolation from the University Of Waikato, New Zealand in 2015. He is a senior lecturer at the Polymer Engineering Department, Universiti Sains Malaysia. His research interests focus on functional and smart rubber concepts, vibration damping materials and high performance rubber. Recently, he is actively involved in the development of self-healing natural rubber for engineering applications. He is a member of Golden Key International Honour Society. He was awarded the USM Hall of Fame Awards (in journal publication) in 2016 and 2017. Dr Raa Khimi currently serves as a reviewer for many international journal that are published by prestigious publishers. In 2015, he was awarded by Elsevier’s as “Outstanding Reviewer”. He is the author of popular book “Science & Engineering Research Writing Template” and actively involved in organizing journal and technical writing workshops. The book revealed new methods to boost your journal and technical writing and available worldwide.
