Prof. Jin Zhi-yang

Zhiyang Jin, male, born in Shaodong County, Hunan Province, China in June, 1978, PhD and associate professor; Currently, vice president of Mechanical and Electrical College of Hainan University, vice president of Hainan Policy and Industrial Research Institute of Low-Carbon Economy, master supervisor, National Senior Environmental Auditor, Hainan Entrepreneurship Tutor, the first batch of low-carbon experts in Hainan Province, a member of experts committee in Green & Low-Carbon Development Think Tank Partnership (GDTP). The main research interests are the Internet of Things, Agricultural Internet of Things, Low-Carbon Manufacturing and Smart City. Participated in more than 20 research programs, among which presided over one national-level project and over three provincial-level projects sponsored by the Priority Project of Science and Technology Department of Hainan Province, the Priority R&D Project of Science and Technology Department of Hainan Province and the Planning Project of Hainan Social Science Federation; participated in one of the Great Projects launched by Ministry of Agriculture of the People's Republic of China, ‘Natural Rubber Industry System Project – Research on Industrial Economy’ (project number: CARS-31-GW11). Additionally, published the journal articles of more than 40 out of which seven are indexed by EI, in which there are five as being the first author or corresponding author; published the books and textbooks of 6, and owned the invention patents of 3. Honours and Awards: ‘Baosteel Excellent Teacher Award’, ‘First Prize of Multimedia Teaching Materials (Software) Competition (CAI)’ of Education Department of Hainan, ‘Second Prize of Hainan University University-level Teaching Achievement’, and ‘Outstanding Social Organisation Worker of National Social Science Federation’.
