Dr. Pakorn Petchprayoon

Dr. Pakorn Petchprayoon is a Chief of Economic Section at the Geo-informatics and Space Technology Development Agency (Public Organization) in Bangkok, Thailand. Dr. Petchprayoon has acquired his M.A. (Remote Sensing & Hydrology) and Ph.D. (Remote Sensing & Climate Studies) from the University of Colorado at Boulder, USA. He was an instructor in remote sensing of the environment course at the University of Colorado at Boulder in 2011. His research interests are in the use of satellite remote sensing techniques, integrated with in situ observations and modeling, to understand the physical processes of energy exchange between the land & water surface and the atmosphere. He has been working on biosphere, hydrosphere, and atmosphere  applications of various other satellites and aircraft instruments
