Dr Yong Kok Chong has been with Malaysian Rubber Board [MRB] since year 2001. He is a Senior Research Officer and also currently a Head of Unit (Elastomer Innovation & Technology Unit). He is specialized in the field of dry rubber technology and leading a few research projects with focus on electrically conductive elastomers and rubber based smart materials for various industrial applications. He is a registered Graduate Chemical Engineer with the Board of Engineers Malaysia [BEM]. He has published more than 60 technical articles and successfully filed 10 international patents (5 granted and 5 pending).
